    3. +Sean Leo Alaraña Maybe the director and producer didn’t want to make the death of a beautiful girl too violent or gory by making her bleed from the knife wound, but that doesn’t make much sense when you consider that she was bleeding from the hit she received in the nose, and that a knife was still stabbed and kicked into her heart while being insulted. To make matters worse they just leave her to be burned on the plane.

    1. both hurt her a lot. after jinx punches her in the face, you can see miranda in pain, closing her eyes and trying to cover her nose with her hand. for the rest of the fight you can see her nose bleeding. after the knife lands on her bra, she lets out a little scream in the original movie, not the dub.

    2. I agree.  Miranda should have been disarmed and cuffed.  Her appearance in front of M in that outfit would have been really humiliating for the evil, traitor.  But in Bond the villains always die …..poor Frost.  I loved that bad ice queen.

    3. What many don’t realize, is that Miranda could have survived the first stab alone, as the knife didn’t seem to go deep into her body (let alone her heart).

      According to one site below, Jinx’s knife is 21.5 cms long, but the blade itself is just 10.5 cms. When Jinx landed her knife between Miranda’s breasts, where her heart is located, AT MOST 2 CMS of the blade (just a little bit of the tip) pierced her chest. Still, that stab that was deep enough for the knife to stick into her chest, and to provoke her a lot of pain, making her unable to continue fighting (though, she could still keep herself standing up).

      Unfortunately, for some cruel reason, Jinx KICKED THE KNIFE FURTHER INTO MIRANDA’S CHEST instead of just disarming her (WTH MAN!!!). After she falls down you can see that just the handle of the knife is still visible, which means that most of the entire blade managed to pierce her chest.

      Now I am not sure about how deep is the heart in her chest (usually is from 5 to 8 inches), but Miranda had the disadvantage of having a slim and delicate body, small breasts (32b, but still very hot and cute), a fine banana shape that tragically stuck out her beautiful bosoms just before the stab, and just a revealing sport bra as protection (heck, she could have her breasts naked and it wouldn’t make much of a difference), so the knife could have pierced part of her heart or at least provoke an enormous amount of internal bleeding.

      Although I find her death kinda sexy, as a fanboy it pisses me off that she was killed, when she could have just be disarmed and captured with just a non-fatal cut in her body. Seriously Jinx, why did you have to kill her!?

      By the way I read the DVD comments to get more clues about her costume, and the actress talked about it. Seems even she has no idea what her character was supposed to be doing dressed like that. Her 2 guesses: she was hot so she needed to change to something more comfortable or she was training (as you said). Her costume is inspired by some of fencing’s protection objects. So nothing that useful about what exactly she was wearing.
